Since 1996, the year the Ways to Work program launched nationally, the extensive network of Ways to Work loan offices has provided loans to help a remarkable number of qualified low-income parents overcome barriers to remaining employed or staying in school.
Loans are available for a variety of purposes consistent with program intent. Typically, loan requests are made by applicants for automobile purchases. The size of the loan varies depending on its purpose, from $500 to $6000.
